The Jerralynn Ness Endowment

Help Us Lead the Way and Honor the Woman Who Led the Way

Community Action seeks to create an endowment honoring long-time Executive Director Jerralynn Ness.  The endowment will provide a lasting legacy to a remarkable woman who helped create a vision in which all Washington County residents are strong, resilient, involved in the community, and live with dignity and security.

Through the Jerralynn Ness Endowment we invite donors to join us in improving the lives of area residents through gifts that will support our work for years to come.

Community Action is a strong, trusted leader in addressing issues of poverty in Washington County.  And Jerralynn Ness has been the strong, trusted leader of those efforts for more than three decades. Her legacy will live on in the thousands of families who improved their lives thanks to the hope, help and inspiration for change they received from Community Action.
You can help us have an even greater impact on thousands more families and help us continue to achieve Jerralynn’s vision of a community where everyone can thrive.  The Jerralynn Ness Endowment will help Community Action lift more families out of poverty by bolstering our financial strength and providing the flexibility that allows us to be responsive to changing local needs.

But in the end your gift is not about supporting Community Action, it is about investing in local families and strengthening our community.  Because when every family has the opportunity to thrive, we all thrive. By supporting the Jerralynn Ness Endowment you can help us assure that every family has a vision of what is possible, and has access to the tools and resources to create that vision.  You can help us strengthen our community's ability to provide more economic opportunities for all for years to come.
