Help Me Grow

Connecting families to the resources needed to give all kids their best start

Having a baby can be one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences life can offer. So that your family has access to the tools to grow and thrive, Help Me Grow will connect you to communities of support for you and your baby.

If you have any worries about parenting or just want some new parenting ideas, contact Help Me Grow. All services are free and voluntary!

Here are some of the ways we can support your family

  • Get Insured through the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)

Are you pregnant and need health insurance? We will help determine if you are eligible for OHP and assist you with the application and expedite the process.

  • Access Prenatal Care

We’ll connect you to prenatal care and other resources in your community. Women and babies are healthiest when they get early and regular prenatal care. Doctors recommend prenatal care as soon as you learn you are pregnant — ideally, in the first three months of your pregnancy.

  • In-Home Parenting Support

For families looking for individualized and focused parenting support, Help Me Grow can enroll you into Healthy Families or the Nurse Family Partnership. If eligible, you will be linked with your own personal nurse or family advocate who will be available to meet with you in your home.

  • Parenting Resources Packet

Call for a free parenting resources packet! This packet includes all sorts of community resources and informational materials about pregnancy and parenting. Topics include: prenatal care, diet and nutrition, baby growth and development, safety and more!

  • Community Referrals and Resources

Looking for prenatal or early childhood resources, but not sure who to call? Help Me Grow knows Washington County and we want to get you connected. Give us a call for your parenting related concerns and we’ll let you know what Washington County has to offer.
