Making Homes Energy-Efficient
Our Energy Conservation program provides free weatherization services to make your home more energy-efficient, safer, more comfortable and durable.
If you need help with essential bills, our Utility Assistance Program is also available to support you.
Energy Conservation Details & Eligibility
If you’re a homeowner or tenant in a house, mobile or manufactured home, or a building with up to four units, you may qualify for free weatherization services. Eligible residents receive a free energy audit, including diagnostic tests to find the best ways to improve energy efficiency. Once approved, licensed contractors complete the upgrades, which may include:
insulation
air and duct sealing
ventilation
heating and cooling systems
windows
Along with the audit, clients receive education on energy-saving tips, health and safety practices, and water conservation tips.

Home Repairs for Beaverton Residents
Income-qualified Beaverton residents may also receive help with critical home repairs. Homes need to be owner-occupied, and applicants should meet Community Development Block Grant income guidelines.
