City of Hillsboro Water and Internet Assistance


Water: Income-qualified customers may receive financial assistance for their water bill once every 12 months.
Internet: With Bridge from HiLight, qualifying households get convenient and reliable gigabit internet service for just $10 per month.
 

Available For:
Customers of City of Hillsboro Water Department and Hillsboro residents (Internet)
 

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
•    Water: Have an income at or below 60% of the Oregon median income over the past 60 days or be currently enrolled in at least one of the assistance programs below.
•    Internet: Have an income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level over the past 60 days or be currently enrolled in at least one of the assistance programs below.

o    Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
o    Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
o    Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
o    Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
o    Free & Reduced Lunch Program
o    Housing and Urban Development Assistance (HUD)
o    Medicaid (OHP)
